You know male dogs are territorial. My Mommy 2 took me to the vet to get fixed (I didn’t know I was broken) because she said I was too territorial. I marked my territory to let everyone know that I was Pookie. I guess I shouldn’t have marked it in the house though. She thought that if I got “fixed” that I would not care about making my mark as much. Well, I still leave my mark!!! I may be small but if anything comes a sniffin’ they are going to know that “Pookie was here!” Just because I’m little doesn’t mean I can’t make a big mark. Sometimes I might have to squeeze a little harder than the big fellows but I get the job done. It doesn’t matter how big or how small you are, if you dare to make your mark in this world you can let everyone know that you are here too. So don’t be intimidated, be like Pookie and go mark some trails!!!!!!

Who is Pookie?

Let me introduce myself. I am a black and white Shih Tzu named Pookie. I was originally named Dollar, but now they only call me that when I’m in trouble. I have many other names too, such as Dee-Dum, Mister Mister, Pooks, and The Pooksinator to name a few.

Now here are a few Pookie facts that you need to know.

1.) I don’t always act as cute and cuddly as my pictures.

2.) I am irresistible.

3.) My family adores me.

4.) I’m hot! as you can can see from my pics.

5.) I am less than a foot tall.

6.) I have a short temper to match my short body.

7.) I have, on several occasions, bitten every member of my family. (I’ll introduce them later)

8.) I always apologize after biting someone, even though they usually deserve it.

9.) I am only afraid of two things. (to be revealed later.)

10.) I am who I am! What you see is what you get! (and what you see can be deceiving). I am not out to try to impress anyone. I am Pookie and I’m content with that!

Pookie Recipes

Pookie Peach Pie

4-6 fresh ripe peaches (canned peaches can be used)

2 ready-made pie shells (thawed)

3tsp cinammon

1/4 cup sugar or splenda

4 tbsp melted margarine

whipped topping

Peel, core and slice peaches. Toss peaches with sugar and cinammon in a mixing bowl. Pour into ready-made pie shell. Cover with remaining pie shell. Poke holes in top of pie shell to vent. Brush with melted margarine. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown. Top each serving with whipped topping.

This is Mommy 2

Ok. I am going to introduce my family, one at a time starting with the one I love the most. This is Mommy 2! I call her Mommy 2 because I was originally bought for Calie (which I now call Sissy). She was my supposed Mommy, so her Mommy became known as Mommy 2. I eventually realized that Mommy 2 was the one who really took care of and ruled everybody else, so I decided to love her the most and call her my own!

Mommy 2 is the only one who can do anything she wants to me without getting growled at or bitten. She made it known to me when I was very young that she was just as spunky as I was. I have tried her many times and she has always prevailed. So I very much admire her and love her.

As I said earlier, I don’t try to impress anyone. My Mommy 2 loves me for who I am and I have learned to love her the same way. You kinda get back what you give, you know? So I give Mommy 2 kisses and she loves me back. She is the greatest!!!

Life is sweet when you have a Mommy2!!!
